I am often amazed at people who think of cougars as these prowling animals who search out prey just to toy with it, or these social animals who just like to be aggressive to cause grief and pain. Cougars are actually very reclusive animals who really like to just be left to themselves. They are seldom seen in the day time because they are very adept at hiding and staying out of sight. They hunt for food and will attack if they feel threatened. But they do not flaunt their beauty, they do not entice with charms and they do not play games as do some of those people who classify themselves as cougars.
